NATURAL ANIMAL HEALTH NEWS MARCH 2009
Welcome to your latest issue of Natural Animal Health News.
Firstly Congratulations to Jim & Bronwyn Joyntz of Wellsford, North Auckland on winning the 20 litre A.H.E. draw, it will be on the way to you shortly.
To be in the Draw you have to send an e/mail saying, Yes, Ian I would like my name to go into the draw each time for one 20 litre of A.H.E. Name, Email address. Send to ian@healthyanimals.co.nz You need to send in your name only once to be entered in all draws.A belated Happy New Year to you all and the best of luck for what for many of us could be a tough year ahead.
My 2009 did not get off to a great start when I discovered to my surprise that certain sellers of expensive chemical based animal health (?) products were trying to get me shut down. The little guy (though I am actually 120kg and not prone to being pushed around) with the cost effective totally natural and highly effective animal health product (AHE) is obviously making the bigger non-natural guys sit up and take notice as more farmers, lifestylers and animal lovers turn to less expensive more natural and gentler ways to invest in their animals health.
To celebrate my victory (yes, I am still here and NZs animals can rest easy) I am running a Special Offer until the end of March. If you buy direct (not through TradeMe etc I will send you a 20 litre drum of Animal Health Elixir direct to your door for $90.00inc that’s a $15.00 saving to you. All you have to do is send an email to ian@healthyanimals.co.nz and ask for the Autumn Special.
Many of you will have friends and neighbours who comment on the prime condition of your animals and who also probably have got into the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff syndrome compared to the friend (AHE) at the top of the cliff. In order for them to kickstart a natural animal health care programme to maintain their animals optimum health levels I am offering an Introductory Offer of $90.00 for their first 20litre drum of AHE, once again that is a saving of $15.00. Further, as a thank you to you for introducing a new customer your next purchase of a 20 litre drum will be reduced to $90.00 as well.
Well enough of giving my profits away for now, let’s get back to the important stuff, your animals. The season is changing and so are the conditions for your livestock. Mites, lice and parasites are on the increase and good pasture while starting to green may still be running low. Sheep should be in good condition for your working rams and after a long dry spell your cows will need to recover some of their lost condition. Cooler temperatures will be here again before we know it. Now is the time for Animal Health Elixir.
A.H.E. provided twice a week in the water trough for 52 weeks of the year will provide a very good animal health protection plan and for approximately a hundred dollars (20litres) for the average 10 acre Lifestyle Block requirements you will have peace of mind as well as healthy animals.
Should you find yourself traveling South of Christchurch through Dunsandel then I recommend you call into Warwickz Farm (www.warwickzfarm.com,right there on the main road) and take a leisurely tour and see the very wide range of animals, birds and poultry, more than 40 different breeds of 20 different species over 200 individual animals and birds. You will be introduced to some special breeds that you may never see any where else all glowing with health and vitality, well worth a look. You will not be surprised when you see AHE supplementing their water troughs.
One last thought for you. If you think I may be able to help you with my past extensive farming experience, with some animal health problem or other situations that crop up on your Lifestyle Blocks then don’t hesitate to drop the big guy an email and I will be only too glad to see if I can be of assistance to you.
Have a great day the Natural Animal Health Way
P.S. Don’t forget to send in your name and email address to be in the A.H.E. draw

Hi Folks
Well, the end of the year is nearly upon us, the silly season with all that goes with it, gift purchasing for loved ones, holiday planning, Christmas day preparations the usual mad rush. It is the time of year when some things get less focus than normal and unfortunately one of those things can be your animal’s health, so let’s remember to spare a thought for them too.
Not too many weeks ago it was still very cold at night but now it is hot days and sometimes hotter nights and there is talk about drought conditions in Canterbury as the summer builds. Have you considered the impact this will be having on your animals and poultry and what minerals and vitamins they may need to maintain their good health?
It is your young stock that you should be paying particular attention to if you want them to put on the kilos over the season. A little extra care now could pay dividends not only in good health but also in dollars in the bank.
Essentially as the number one health care provider for your animals and poultry you need to take control. For example, for animals suffering from scouring or worms or grass staggers there is no way to know just how much water your sick animal may be drinking. The solution in these situations is to drench your animal with Animal Health Elixir (AHE). You do not need a fancy drenching gun, a plastic syringe is fine, just get that liquid goodness into your animal and remember, you cannot overdose, the animal absorbs what it needs then disperses the rest, it is fool proof and it works.
I have had many clients over the years for their very sick animals use a small stubby beer type bottle and put in their mouth so it just pours down their throats. It may be a bit rough on them but hey, if it saves their lives then why not, it is all part of taking control.
Drenching is just one of many ways of administering AHE. If you are dry feeding animals pouring it on the feed proves very effective. Some of my clients are soaking it in bread and applying it daily in that manner. Warwickz Farm (mentioned in the last newsletter) with their wide range of animals provide AHE through the water troughs, you can check out their great results at www.warwickfarm.com.
Unwell animals need to be dosed each morning and night for 3 to 5 days, 25mls each dosing for sheep and goats etc and larger calves and horses and the like 50mls each time. Remember, you cannot overdose at these higher rates. Just stand back and watch the improvement.
Here is a bonus for those of you running sheep, AHE has been found to be a great fly strike preventative on shorn sheep if used on a regular basis. One of the ingredients of AHE is garlic and after several weeks of regular intake the garlic starts to seep out of the pores on the sheep’s skin on hot days when the flies are at their worst. Fly’s absolutely hate garlic and move right along with their eggs still onboard. This was not a planned action of AHE, but it works and allows you to say goodbye to costly fly blown dead sheep as well as gaining delicious garlic infused sheep meat!
So don’t forget to stock up on Animal Health Elixir for the season. It is all natural, has no chemicals or drugs (thus no withholding period), it is easy to apply, it is great value at $105.00 per 20 litres and boy does it work.
Well I wish you all, safe holidays and the very best over this Festival Season.
Please give some thought to the “Reason for the Season.”
Have a great day the Natural Animal Health Way
NATURAL ANIMAL HEALTH NEWS October 2008
Welcome to your latest issue of Natural Animal Health News.
Firstly Congratulations to Viv McFarlane of Hastings on winning the 20 litre A.H.E. draw.
To be in the Draw you have to send an e/mail saying, Yes, Ian I would like my name to go into the draw each time for one 20 litre of A.H.E. Name, Email address. Send to ian@healthyanimals.co.nz You need to send in your name only once to be entered in all draws.
I apologise for the delay in getting this Newsletter out to you. I have had as mentioned in my last Newsletter even more dramas with my website(s) but the good news is that I managed to find some “website health elixir” and am pleased to announce that www.healthyanimals.co.nz is up and fully functional and with regular dosing will have an even shinier coat in future.
Having now emerged from my worrisome web of internet imponderables into the light of day I can see some parallels with this experience and my farming experience and Animal Health Elixir.
My farming experience (unlike my website experience) has taught me to try to be ahead of the game by providing my animals with the two big Ps, Protection and Prevention, before they get to the edge of the cliff. This is much better than having to use the two small ps at the bottom of the cliff picking them up and patching them up and that is, if it is not all too late.
Protecting your animal and Preventing ill health by working with nature through A.H.E. will as well as saving your animals health and possibly life will also save you vet bills and sorrow.
If I had known then what I know now about building and maintaining an effective website then I would have fewer grey hairs and a little more money in my wallet. Life is a journey made more comfortable by learning from and adjusting to your experiences and we and our animals will be the better for it.
I spent a very interesting day on Sunday October 5th at Warwickz Farm in Dunsandel where I was invited to set up my stand during their Alpaca and Rare Breeds Open Day. While most of the visitors were townies I fielded many questions relating to A.H.E and natural animal health. The fact that A.H.E. is all natural and works with nature and not chemicals was of great interest.
It was good to be able to point out to people that all of the animals on the farm including alpacas, sheep, goats, kunekunes, a donkey, a horse, rabbits, guinea pigs, poultry, pigeons and many I have probably forgotten all have twice weekly doses of A.H.E. Their internal health was reflected in the healthy shiny coats and silky feathered exteriors. You can go to www.warwickzfarm.com and see for yourselves.
Anyway, its time for me to go polish my new improved website so don’t forget to visit me at www.healthyanimals.co.nz. Also remember that if there is anything I can help you with regarding your animals health do please send me an email at ian@healthyanimals.co.nz
